pirate Hello From Ventura

Hi all,

I just registered here and wanted to say hi ;-)

I presently own a 27' O'Day but trying to move up to a 40' live aboard so I can prepare to go cruising in a few years once I have mastered the boat and found a first mate for the journey. Does anyone here go scuba diving in the channel Islands?

welcome aboard Rick:

I hope to be down your way in September. Currently in SF Bay. Diving looks good.

Welcome Rick

I used to do a lot of diving in Catalina in the early 80's. I'm currently landlocked in KY, but thinking about relocating to Ventura and possibly living on a cruising cat. Maybe we will cross paths in the near future!

Greetings Rick!

I used to live in Ventura West Phase ll, and Harbor Village for a time. Now I'm based out of SB but I miss a lot of things about Ventura. It's hard to beat a broad reach home from the islands or the scent of the mushroom farm when the wind turns offshore. I don't dive anymore but envy those who do. Hope to run into you out at the islands.
