Hello! Glad to be a Part of Cruisers Forum!

Last fall my Husband, Greg, and quit our jobs, sold everything, rented out the house, and bought a boat! After taking sailing lessons and talking about cruising and living aboard for about 3 years we finally did it to the shock and amazement to all our friends who never really thought we were serious. We did our first cruise in the Bahamas this year from February until June on our 1983 Catalina 36. It was a huge learning experience. We are back on the dirt now for hurricane season and planning our next journey.

We are still learning as we go and Cruisers Forum has been a great help. Thanks to everyone here for sharing your vast experience and knowledge!

Welcome aboard, Duwan & Greg! Sounds a little like us...and our family and friends thought we were nuts, too. Happy Sailing!

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here. Yours is a happy story. You said it was a huge learning experience but didn't comment on how good or bad it was. Hope it was good.
kind regards,
