Hello World !

Just registered for Cruisers Forum this morning while poking around looking for some crewing oppys. Former US Navy Vet, Rescue Swimmer & former lifeguard, SCUBA certified. Current hobbies include mountain biking/racing, motorcycles (off and on), and all things tech. Athletic, fit and ready to sail.

I live in the San Francisco bay area and recently became ASA certified in BKB. I am pursuing additional ASA certifications over the coming weeks and months ahead along with a friend of mine with the eventual hopes of either owning/chartering a boat for extended vacations, cruises, or just interesting adventures that may come along.

I am interested in local crewing opportunities in and around CA and possibly FL (my home state) to help gain experience and learn as much as possible.

On a side note, if you happen to drop anchor between Santa Cruz and SF and are interested in some mountain biking and need someone to show you the local trails, drop me a line/PM and I'd be happy to show you around!

Welcome aboard and I hope you find some boats to crew on. SF is a great place to start sailing. Injoy!

Welcome aboard, and good luck with your hunt. Don't forget to email marinas too, and ask them to put your request on their noticeboards...
