Help with Seagold Watermaker?

Hi guys,

Preparing for the cruise in 2005 I bought me a seagold ER-40 watermaker. But I can't seem to get a manual or filters.
Can anybody help me out?

Seagold

Hi

I also have acquired a Seagold ER-40 with no manual or spare membranes. Mine is still working well and I don't want to take it apart with out instructions incase I ruin a seal or a membrane. Have you found out any more about yours, have you had it in pieces, etc ??

Cheers.....Trev

Didn't Seagold become Pur?

There are generally 2 pre-filters somewhere between the priming pump and the high pressure pump that are not membrane. They are normally standard and supplied by almost every watermaker store.

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Trev (& John).

Plumbing questions, such as yours, might best be placed in

I suspect that Randy is correct, and that “Seagold” may have been absorbed by “PUR/Katadyn”.

SailAdventures watermaker

Hi Trev,

I didn't find any parts. Made myself a new one with industry-standard mambrane and readily available parts before we left.
