Hi

New guy from Boston exploring the possibilities of cruising life along the Eastern US and every once in awhile to the Caribbean. I've mostly been between large ships Navy, and small raiding craft, Marines. Nautical navigation and over the horizon in all weather and sea states, zodiacs and rigid hull inflatables. Good experience Up and down the ICW and inlets of eastern NC, SC, and VA.

Hoping to learn sailing with larger boats in next year, been reading a lot for now.

Re: Hi

Hi Xdeth and welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you have a good plan in place to get into cruising. Keep on reading and when (not if) you have questions about what you're learning pop onto the forum. Lots of experience here from every aspect of boats and boating, from designing to building, racing to cruising, and any sort of repair you can imagine.

You might also want to read some of the old discussions on the forum. Just about anything you can think of has probably been discussed in previous threads.
