Hi from Brentwood Bay, BC

Finally, the search ends. Found our next S/V to complete our dream. In 2002 we sailed south from the northern tip of Vancouver island to Mexico and cruised for over a year and then I sailed Sorcery back solo. Circumstances forced us to sell her and we have been frantically searing for another boat since. We felt like fish out of water not living and sailing. Well, we just purchased a 36' cutter rigged Columbia, loaded and ready to go.
I have to drive to Texas, sail south to Panama, go through the canal and sail back to BC, but she is ours. I am leaving early May to begin.
Once back in BC, we will work for another year or two and retire completely and sail away forever. We plan to circumnavigate, finishing what we started in 2002, until our plans were so rudely interrupted by uncontrollable circumstances.
enough rambling, just happy to be among the sailing (living) again.

Welcome, fellow Canuck.

I will look for your boat sometime in the fall.

Welcome! It's beautiful over in Brentwood. We start our own cruise in 67 days leaving from Victoria.

thanks for the welcome, it is beautiful over here...perhaps we will cross paths in the wild blue yonder as I sail back north and you head south, I am probably going to hit Hawaii on the way back, not so much beating that way...we are so excited to be boat owners again...

I will be leaving Maui for Vancouver in the last week of July. You seem to have an earlier departure. But if you are still around ...
