Good to have you here. Glad your not from Black Rock, Oregon, USA. Ghost town near Falls City which is like in the movie "Deliverance."

Hi Doug and Kate,

we are doing the same as you. We are real beginners and live about 2 km away so we know where Black Rock is!

So hopefully we are heading fo warmer temperatures also. We are taking our time to learn and get ready. Look forward to sailing out through the heads one day.

Keep us informed on your progress.

how small is this planet? yes we have had enough of Melbb. weather,maybe catch up for a coffee and swap plans one day?

thanks for the welcome! Yes you stirred me t looking for Black Rock Oregon on Google Earth and it's not a pretty site! Our's is much nicer but, a lot colder.
