Hi From Virginia Beach

Hi, I'm Buck ...

I'm new to this forum and just thought I'd check in.
I home port my '01 Hunter 420 at Little Creek, Norfolk, Va. from which I've been cruising the Bay for years on it and earlier boats.
Also, for almost the past 10 years, I've been taking the boat down to the Keys in the Fall, leaving it there for the Winter (using it as a 'get-away' condo to escape to), then bringing it back North in the Spring.
Been over to the Bahamas a few times and North in the Summer to NYC, etc.
Just trying to make the best of it till I can retire in a few years.

Hope to see some of you "on the water"

hey there, I've just sailed/motored up as crew from Charleston to Norfolk on a Catalina Morgan 440. The captain has had a family emergency and has had to leave. His insurance wont let me stay on his boat while he's not there.

I'm looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights from Friday!! If you can help a fellow sailor in need - well that would be amazing!

Im at Waterside Marina.

cheers

Richard

Aloha and welcome aboard!
I sailed out of Little Creek while in the Navy once. Out of NavBase Norfolk once too. Great place to sail except for the fog and cold winters.
kind regards,
