Hey everyone! My name is Tony and I'm a graphic designer and I love sailing and boating.

I'm interested in making custom sail designs for people that want a nice look for their boat.

I'm looking forward to being apart of this community!

Custom graphic designs make a huge difference in the appearance of a yacht. They add a lot of personality, and make it easier to spot your yacht in an anchorage if the designs are large enough.

I wonder if anyone has created designs that incorporate reflective surfaces that would increase visibility in search and rescue situations. I can also imagine reflective designs could be valuable in anchorages at night to make it easier to find your yacht, and to prevent other people from running into your yachts.

When we were in Bequia, there were hundreds of yachts at anchor, and at night it was a challenge to find our yacht. A reflective design would have been a big help.

So there is business for graphic design for yachts? If so then i'm looking forward in doing two things i love.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
I'm not likely to have anything other than a white or tanbark sail but that's only due to the extra cost of colors and graphics but there is a big market for personalized stuff so you might just find your niche.
