hello there, new to the sailing world, but not to the water. im in the process of purchaseing a 1978 soverel 36-2 from a frend and will be saying good bye to land life once again. im 23 and work as a tug boat capt. travling the canals of south louisiana, texas, mississippi, alabama, and florida. intell last year i lived on a house boat in north west florida, decideing that it would be more practical to live in a house i bought one in louisiana last january. considering iv slept. in that house 7, maybe 8 times scince iv bought it iv decided to put it up for rent, turn the dock lines loose and return to what i love. looking forward to learning from some of the old salt dogs here and sharing what i learn as i go.
