Houseboat wanted

Hi just signed up with Cruiser's I'm new to the boat world..lived in the Virgin Islands for 30 yrs, currently in Florida. Looking for a new lifestyle that may be slightly relevant to Caribbean life. Marina life, boat communities possibly in the Marathon area of Florida . Just need a small boathouse to rent ....any suggestions?

Re: Houseboat wanted

Are you looking for houseboat as the title suggest or a boathouse as the text of your post indicates? I'am sure you'll get more responses when readers know for sure which you're looking for.

Mid to southwest Florida, east coast. Don't need motor, just want to live on the water!

Re: Houseboat wanted

Would you be looking to buy a house boat? We have on in south Naples FL. She's 65'x20' ish, one bedroom, shower and jet tub and it does move away from the dock. We take it out to the gulf to over night and long weekends.

Hi John,
I just happened across tis subject thread and saw your posting.

Several years ago I was down in that area and saw two similar houseboats that had been built by a gentleman from Canada. One of them had alum hulls, and the other SS hulls. The SS hull one was over in a marina in Goodland Fla. Which one is this??

What kind of price are you asking for it?

We have a catamaran now to move onto if need be. We love the house boat and is her office for the most part now. We stay on the house boat Monday-Friday.

Happy to send more pix and old survey.
PM me your email or phone number.
Thanks,
John
