I've just sold my boat. More for the lack of finance than the wrong woman but it was still a close call and painful to do.
I did a two day trip with 'boatman61' on a small Catalac, it fell a long way short of my Prout, slower, nowhere near the same room, and less freeboard. There are some decent Prouts around, get down to the internet and search around. Worse they are the cheaper they are but you will (subject to survey) get a sound set of hulls and a safe boat. And a bit of carpentry will make her YOUR boat.

Welcome, Saltwannabee, why wait for spring? As you leave for offshore, your other half becomes very easy to deal with knowing that now is her last chance to get what she wants. Good Luck!
