Thank you Bill

If could ask you a question, do you know many people 60+ who have just taken
up sailing ( as I just have)?

Aloha Dave,
Our club does a free Sailing 101 day every month. We've had folks from 8 to 80 show up and some older ones have stuck around and made the cruising jump in their 50s and 60s. Some 60 year olds have just kicked back and used our club boats and really enjoyed them.
regards,

Thanks SkiprJohn; I just bought my boat this year and unfortunatly could
only motor my way to her wintering grounds since the wind was not in our
favor. But while under way, I couldn't help but wonder, how many other
older folks are doing what I am.

How many typical sixty-something folks ever take up ANYTHING new?

I'd suppose few.

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Dave. Congratulations on beaking the "old fogey" (from one to another) mold.

Thanks for the welcome. You make it sound like I have ventured into
uncharted waters:Good! I know for me anyway, I want to get as much
adventure in while Iam still on the green side of the grass.
