Introducing myself

Hi
I have just joined the forum Thanks to everyone that contributes, it's such a powerful tool to have the worlds like minded people all pulling together. Brilliant
So I'm a fair weather sailor , I own a Wing25 No 61 vessel and I only sail itt local to my home town along the River Crouch and out to the Thames Estuary.
I also normally take my safety boat with me which so happens to be a neighbour's Oceanis 37 (very nice)
My main reason to sign up was to find help and maybe contribute to the OpenCpn navigation tool.
My boats name is Memory.
Thanks again for your support.
Mark.

Re: Introducing myself

Welcome.

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.

Actually a great anchor would have a gun that shot spars into the substrate, no dragging :-)
