Introduction

Hi Everyone,

I am a new owner of a 74 Bristol 27 that I bought in Myrtle beach and a going to bring back to Jacksonville via the ICW in tomorrow. Not much boating experience and very little sailing (just a dinghy on a lake as a kid.)

So any tips, links to anchorages along the way is very welcome.
Thanks in advance!
-Dave

Welcome to CF. I would like to see one of those Bristol's up close some day, congrats.

Asking today for tomorrow is a little hurried.
I would start another thread titled 'Myrtle Beach to JAX via ICW info needed ASAP' or something like that to get the non meet and greet people.

Here is a Bristol 27 you can see up close.

The guy sailed it across 3 oceans. It looks a bit rough, but that just goes to show how strong of a boat they are.

The attached pictures are of my Bristol 27. I repainted the interior.

Thanks T. I hope to see one / sail one in person someday. Sean is something else. I know you sail yours quite a bit too.
