It was said 1/2 tongue in cheek. But mostly just little things, and most are due to still working and dealing with land. No pizza delivery. Need a part from Home Depot? Its blowing 20 knots and a wet dinghy ride. Etc.

But you are correct in that I took a month off to sail down here. A week at anchor with no commitments was the most relaxed I have ever been in my life.

Actually, I have the right boat for what I do...….

The living on the hook life would drive me nuts. It's way too slow.

Who would want to be stuck like that with limited options?

If I were to be on my boat full time, I'd be on the move constantly just like I do now even on a short weekend cruise or on vacations I rarely stay in one spot more than 24-48 hours (unless it was due to weather, need of supplies, etc)
