Just got into sailing...

Hello Everyone,

It hit me one day as I was in class....BANG I want to sail! To make a long story short 3 weeks later I have a 26' Clipper Marine sitting in my back yard. It needs some work....I have so far been very impressed by how helpful some of the members have been. Some of you have actaully agreed to supply me with wood for the refit! Thank you very much for all the advice. I will keep updating the thread every weekend, the times when I can travel home to work on my baby. Here is the link http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...r-me-7198.html.

Looking forward to all you help, I'm going to need it.

Shawn

Welcome to the worst monetary investment you'll ever make! Just kidding... time shares and RVs are probably worse. Planes too. And if a boat makes you happy, it's cheaper than paying a shrink.

No matter how bloody my knuckles are, or how drained my bank account is, I can't walk by a harbor without looking out the entrace to it and feeling the hair stand up on the back of my neck. If you've got a spirit in you, you just found yourself a great outlet for it.

May the wind be on your beam and sea on your bow.

There's only one other thing that'll do that to ya. That's why boats are called SHE.
