Just got my ASA114 and HOOKED!

Just completed the ASA 101, 103, 104, 114 and have to say that I'm hooked and loved sailing.

I had never been on a sailboat before my 101 class and am really looking forward to getting some more experience.

Looking forward to really learning more about this hobby/lifestyle and hopefully charting some cats in the future!

Re: Just got my ASA114 and HOOKED!

Congratulations, and welcome to the forum!

The ASA 118 (docking) is also well worth the cost - two days of bashing someone else's boat against the pier. Of the few ASA courses I took, that was the most beneficial to me and my wife. We took that course shortly before our first bareboat charter. During our first docking of that charter boat, no one on the pier had to run away screaming. In fact, no one seemed to pay us any attention at all, so I guess we looked like we knew what we were doing.
