Luna Sea or Lunacy? Hi, I’m new here!

Greetings! Luna Sea is our boat’s name, but occasionally we feel it was lunacy to get into boating... j/k.... mostly.
I’m so excited that I found this site! My husband and I purchased a 1975 Ericson E27 last year. I’ve taken sailing certification courses and now I’m teaching Darling Husband; so far so good... but he’s used to taking orders from me. 😁

Our end game is to have a large enough and sturdy enough boat to travel the world. But for now we’re happy sailing around in the San Juan Islands. Thank you in advance to any one who takes the time to answer somewhat newbie questions.

Enjoy your new boat. I am in the process of doing the same thing, up here in the cold north. Lots of things to learn, but the best way is to get out there and sail ;-)

Be sure he learns the most important and traditional nautical language, “Yes dear.”

Does he refer to you as "the Admiral" yet? Then you'll know you're getting somewhere!

Well done with your Ericson. Great little coastal cruiser.

Oh! and Welcome Aboard,
