Lurking No More

Greetings to all of you out there in Water World.
Like many of you, I suspect, I have wanted to make a major change for quite some time but "Life" always seems to get in the way.
Well I finally made the decision to start the education process and consider that the first small step forward.
After all it does not cost much to learn online and from my local library.
Of course when you get your teeth between the bit and some room to run...watchout.
Next thing you know, I'll be wanting my own boat..Oh-Know!!!
Where will it go from there?
Stand by and lets find out, shall we...
Offically, I am Tony Randall.
Curently living in the nice small town of Grants Pass in SW Oregon.

I have a good idea that I could be perfectly happy with something like a Antares 44i in an owners configuration...somewhere down the line...way down the line $$$$
Hey that was easy enough, why did I think I needed to come here and play the new guy role... I already know what I want....ha-ha-ha

If only it were that easy.
(Gee) WHY didn't I just say I could be perfectly happy with a Yapluka...?
A 16 foot Hobie cat would be a better place to start you say?
No? What is that? A Sunfish would actually be better still... Ok, One at a time guys.
And so it begins.

And I'll say this here and now:
Thank you all, in advance, for all the patience and sound advice even when the questions seem....???

Aloha and Welcome aboard!
I've been through Grants Pass a few times. Great little town.
Hope you enjoy this forum. You will get lots of opinions. I recommend sailing courses if ever you are close enough to the water to find one and a Sunfish is a great little boat to start with. Of course, a Hobie 16 is fun too.
kind regards,
