New here...from...New-Caledonia

Hi All,
French sailor, diver and...teacher, I'm happy to be here with you!
In 2008, I have crossed the North Atlantic Ocean from Quebec to LaRochelle and I have lot of experiences (but probably less than many of you!^^) in little races and cruising.
If I'm an old swimmer and diver in swimming-pool (subaquatic hokey), I'm a recent diver (with bottle) in blue water because I live near the most beautifull lagoon of the world!!

Hope to meet you soon, here or on the blue-water around the world.

And don't forget: "Who travels add to his life!" (Berber proverb)

G'Day Penduic, and welcome to CF. You will find a warm welcome here and lots of advice if you ask... some good, some not so good. Your job will be to guess which is which!

And you are right! The lagoon(s) surrounding New Cal are indeed beautiful. We've spent many happy seasons cruising there and hope to return next year.

Cheers,

Jim

Hell, I'm looking forward to your speaking up when someone asks a question that your experience leads to a useful answer! We all have areas of knowledge as well as questions.
