Hello,
Thanks for having this forum.

I have just completed the Bareboat Skippers' course (IYT) at Gulf Charters, Thailand. Now need to find a sailing boat and keep practising.

In 1963, I was born on the Isle of Wight in Britain, sailed dinghies as a youth, moved to Fiji in late 1980s and bought an old boat there and had a lot of experiences and benefited from advice of fellow members of the Royal Suva Yacht Club. Now working in Cambodia but intending to return to Fiji next year.

Good to be here.
Julian

Re: New member

Welcome to CF,Julian.

Sounds like a good plan, so hop to it! Fiji is a great place to sail, and likely to live as well. We sure enjoyed the three seasons we spent cruising there in the early 90s. Perhaps we met along the way!

Cheers,

Jim
