Hi

I have just joined the forum to offer any advice I can to owners of steel vesels out there on matters of insulation, heating and specifically Rayburns! Bit specialist I know, but I have had to maintain mine myself as finding a decent engineer is nigh on impossible.
I am also selling my steel Bruce Roberts Spray 38 which I built with my ex partner and have owned for the last ten years. Time to come ashore!
Have a look at the classified and if you are interested I can send you pictures. She really is beautiful and thats not just me being biased. One of the best looking Sprays around.

Regards
Janette

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Janette.

We look forward to benefiting from your expertise, and wish you good luck in selling your ‘Spray’.

Forgive this dumb Canadian’s ignorance, but what’s a Rayburn?
(I suspect it’s a gas appliance, of some sort)

It is a solid fuel or oil based cooker/water heater, similar to an Aga

Sorry to hear that you are having to move ashore. Perhaps the wheel will turn full cycle again someday
