New Member Introduction

Hello sailors!

I've read a lot of extremely helpful posts here while searching for information in support of upgrades to my 1976 Venture 25 (an early MacGregor) named Pipe Dreams. She is in a perpetual refit process while I also sail her as much as possible. I'm finally getting around to signing up!

My home waters are the Kentucky Lake (Tennessee River) in Western Kentucky. Pipe Dreams is birthed at Irvin Cobb marina in Blood River. I do some modest cruising on the Lake, as well as day sailing, and I'm excitedly preparing for a 2 week cruise in the North Channel with the North Channel Trailer Sailors (my first extended cruise) later this summer.

Thanks to all of you for the great information on these forums!

Re: New Member Introduction

Welcome aboard Sethile, and enjoy your cruise. I remember with fondness our first foreign cruise in our Catalina 22, way back in 1971... trailer from SF to Port Angeles, Washington, sail to Vancouver via Victoria and the Gulf Islands and return. A month of excitement and learning for me, ex-wife and two small children.

Bon Voyage, and keep posting here with your news, questions and adventures.

Jim
