New Member - No boat yet still dreaming

Hi everyone

Still dreaming about the cruising life at this point . No boat, but have obtained CYA certification and getting sailing experience by crewing every week during the summer at a local yacht club as well as racing in the Ontario 300. My wife and I did bareboat in the BVI for the 1st time last march and we really enjoyed it. Plan is retire within 10 years splitting our time cruising Florida/caribbean and home ( Toronto ).

Looking forward to participating in this forum

local clubs from hog town

I sail out of the Whitby Yacht Club.

I see you're from Thunder Bay. I was there many moons ago visiting a friend who went to lakehead U.

Thanks for the welcome !

Welcome Northbreeze.

Enjoy the dreams as much as the journey. Both are good!

Cheers

Welcome Northbreeze,

I'm stuck sailing the lakes of Oklahoma for three more years. Then it is up to the Great Lakes and then to sea. Keep us apraised of your progress.
