Neither, but Lake Champlain, Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay are a short drive away.

Re: New Member...without a ship.

I haven't been on here in over two years. A reply to one of the few threads I am subscribed to brought up an e-mail notification which reminded me of the site.

Unfortunately, my original plans have all changed, thanks to a cell phone yapping idiot in a car who rammed me and my motorcycle into the car in front of me while we were both stopped in traffic. This was at the start of my 2009 Euro motorcycle tour. The motorcycle was written off and I spent two weeks in an Austrian hospital. I have since shipped another motorcycle over and my Euro and Alps tours resumed in 2010.

As a result of my injuries, I do not consider myself sure-footed enough to single handedly control a ship.

Besides, that Island Packet 380 I was going to go with was going to cost a lot more than the Porsche Carrera I bought after getting back on my two feet.

Thank you to those who responded to my PMs as well as threads asking for info. I'm walking away with my radio licence and coastal navigation courses under my belt.
