New to me boat owner

Would like to introduce myself. Been reading this forums and others for about 5 years after being bitten by the thought of sailing bug. Eventual retirement dream in 15 years is to buy a catamaran and cruise for the remainder of days. No more snow for me. However need to learn to sail first. Had an Albacore dingy sailboat for a year to try and learn on my own. Went not too bad, however, easy to tip over and my admiral was not a fan of bailing. Now have traded the albacore for a 1979 Tanzer 7.5. Woo hoo. Even trade. Newer sails with the Tanzer. Just need an outboard motor and electronics of my Choice. Just wanted to say hi and now I will be on with some questions.
