New to sailing new to NC

My wife and I have just moved to North Carolina from the Phoenix Arizona area. We are considering the concept of living aboard and have developed an interest in sailing although we haven't sailed very much. We are hoping to meet people in the North Carolina area that do you do live aboard and see their boats and get first-hand experience is of what living aboard it's like .

I am originally from Maryland she is originally from Indiana I like Arizona but the crabbing was not very good there

I am from nc originally. Where are you in nc? Finding a liveaboard marina is tough. Need heat and ac in the boat too.
