new to the forum..Vancouver

I sail a old Spencer 35 cutter-headed sloop by the name of Haulback - I live in the Vancouver B.C. area so do some local sailing up and down the coast and over into the Gulf Islands quite a bit.
However, my main interest is in ocean sailing - have done a number of crossings from British Columbia to Hawaii and return, as well as a 2 year circumnavigation ...all singlehanded. 3 of the Hawaii trips were as a competitor in the Singlehanded Transpac race from San Francisco to Hanalei Bay
So I do have some experience as to what does and does not work....at least as far as my boat, and my manner of sailing her is concerned.....but am always on the lookout for new ideas and opinions.
Now that I am back home and having to work for the next while, maybe I can 'go cruising' on this forum with all of you!!!

Jim

Greetings.

I would be very interested in your specific single handed thoughts.

Aloha Jim,
Welcome aboard! Isn't Hanalei one of the grandest places on earth? Of course you live in a pretty nice place yourself.
Good to have you and your experience here.
Kind regards,
JohnL
