New to the forum with a new-to-us Amel

[ASM Nalu]

Hi all!

Just thought I'd quickly introduce us since we've been registered for a while, but have only just recently found and bought our new-to-us boat.

We're Martijn & Martine, two 50+ Dutch liveaboards. We've sold our boats (or at least - sold our Victoire 1270 and will sell our Moody 346 in spring) and bought an Amel Super Maramu last June.
We used to each live on our own boat but will be moving in together on the Amel (oh my).

We can't afford to go cruising full time yet, so our plan is to winter in the Netherlands to work & save our money for sailing during the summer months. We can't wait to go back to Norway (or even further North) and Sweden, and there's sailing around the UK and Ireland and ... and ... and well, there's plenty to see and enjoy within that ± 6 month radius

But for now, Nalu is in Samos and we're flying out there in 2 weeks to get to know her and enjoy sailing the Northern Aegean / Dodecanese Islands (Greece only).
She's our first Ketch and we've never sailed the Med, so we're very much looking forward to this trip!

If all goes well, we'll be sailing her home to the Netherlands early next season. It would be kind of nice to have our new home at home
