Newb Here

Hi all! i joined this forum a few years back and did a little research and whatnot. got deployed...new kid and time flies! doesnt seem like it was that long ago. anyways i couldnt remember my old id, and i used a different email. at any rate i ended up making a new id. I have dreams of grandeur...aka..illusions. LOL. been on a lot of motorboats but not any sail despite always being attracted to sailboats. I will be moving to TX in June and plan on going to Kemah and taking classes asap at bay area sailing school. after a few classes i intend on renting the hunter 28 for quite some time while i learn.
it may be premature to look at boats now...at least for when i will be in the market for one (retire from the AF in 15 yrs hopefully and cut all ties except family). im saving now for that day however. since i have not physically looked at any boats its kinda ridiculous to say what i want or even think i want.....but from looking at hundreds of boat pics and designs i am kinda drawn to the tayana 37....

Re: newb here

welcome back.

(and my guess is that everyone is 'kinda drawn" to the Tayana 37.)

Welcome back and bear in mind that it's never too early to start looking at boats, buying them is a whole other issue but just looking?. Lot's of fun...
