Newbie on the water

Hello all, been following the forum for years.

Was an airline pilot for 30+ years but recently got the heave ho as an early retiree. It’s all good. My better half and I have been planning some blue water ventures and possibly a Loop at some point.

Grew up on boats as my father was a ship Captain and wife and I have had smaller boats (18’ -26’) for years at our lake house. Kids are gone, so it’s time for us!

Love the forum, cheers all.
