Perkins 4-154 (1980)

Anyone know what psi cap I should be using on my bowman coolant tank?

It's low, 3-4psi, I think.

Most knowledgable parts and supplies for the 154 and all marine engines is Transatlantic Diesel in White Marsh Va. I replaced my 154 with a cummins 4B 65 hp and it was less exp. than an over haul of the 154. I get hull speed with the Gulfstar 50 sloop at 1600 rpm
