Ready for my 1st Boat

Hello Everyone,
I'm Davie. I'm from Georgia and ready to join the sailing community. I've been in the process of searching and buying a Morgan 41' (1977 or newer) for almost 2 years now. I think I found one near by. It should be mine in about 2 weeks. Good to be here!

I have a question: how do I open a thread? I need help with some technical questions. Also, in which column do I post it? Thank you.

What I meant was WHERE do I open a thread where you ask technical questions about a sailboat. Thanks for your advise, although very vague. Can you be more specific?

A few tips:

1. Pick the appropriate subforum and be specific. Choose your thread title carefully. Use terms that will fit the question. If technical, put specific Terms in title. Such as "Morgan 41 Electrical Problems"

2. Since you are interested in the Morgan 41, I suggest spending some time reading the threads or archived discussions about those boats. Here is a link to those threads:

Good luck with your new boat!
