Question Ready to cruise

Having been a costal sailor for 30+ yrs we have been fortunate to get a boat that is capable of taking a long trip. I plan on rigging out in late May and heading for the V.I's from N. Fl close to St. Marks. I have no idea of what to expect in the way of permits and flag signals needed in entering foreign ports. Being a newbie I await your knowledge and advise. Thanks in advance.

Aloha Woodmo,
Welcome aboard!! I think you have a great boat there. The only time I've been to where you want to go is via Navy ship so I just can't help you out with your question. I do know that it is a good idea to display the flag of the country you are visiting when entering port.
Kind Regards,
JohnL
