Renewing the dream

I'm looking to soon buy a cruise equipped sailboat in the 38 to 44 foot range.

I have previously owned a 1957 35' Ohlsen yawl and then a 40' Challenger sloop. Before those boats, I hitchhiked as crew from California to Australia on four different sailboats.

Its been a while since then, but its like riding a bike, you never forget how to be a good skipper. I'm mechanically inclined and can fix almost anything.

Sailing plans include the Sea of Cortez, then perhaps El Salvador and Costa Rica. After that, island hopping west for who knows how long.

Welcome to the forum. Spent 3 years down in the SOC. Fun place.

Welcome aboard, Idaho.
