pirate Returning to My Love of the Water

Hello all, I'm new to the forum. I'm considering returning to sailing, and trying to get my nerve up to sail again, alone this time. Lost everything in Katrina in New Orleans. I'm ashamed to admit, I got terribly desperate and saw a wonderful (all wood) canal boat in Great Britain! Always wanted to go, and what a way to see another part of the world. Anyway, one has begin a journey with a first step. So this is mine, well this and checking out boats for that someday!

Welcome to the forum Allyn.
I share your interest in those canal boats....not sure about the wooden ones?
