Salutations and Introduction from a newcomer

Hello CF - My name is Nova, I’m a longtime lurker, first-time poster, and reader of the CF Newsletter. I’m finally ready to get serious about (hands-on) sailing and hope to meet like-minded folks who can offer advice, education, experience and wisdom.

I’ve enjoyed membership at the Lake Lanier Passport Sailing Club in Georgia/USA and recently obtained my ASA 105 Navigation certification from St. Augustine Sailing in Florida. Here is a list of vessels I’ve helmed, along with previous ASA certifications and locations.

I’m originally from Florida and live in Atlanta, GA, however, I recently rented my house and cut the proverbial landline. I am back in SW FL and ready to get on the water by hopefully joining a sailing club, helping out on day cruises, or potentially crewing. I will post separately on the crew available forum once I feel confident enough to pull the trigger.

Thanks and looking forward to the expedition!
