Seeking Assistance in the Mediterranean

Hello all! My name is Ken Anderson and yes, I am the new kid on the block.

I am in the market to purchase a boat suitable for liveaboard, and with the intention of traveling the Mediterranean. I will be traveling the Med Coast starting in Athens (Mid-November) and working my way back to Portugal.

This trip is to look at boats, marinas, yards, as well as all of the logistics and administrative requirements required to accomplish this endeavor.

I have much reading to do on this site but am hoping to meet one or a few of y'all, perhaps in a private chat, as well as hopefully in the Athens area that I could eventually sit down and pick your brains.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Ken

Navily.com is quite good for anchorages.

If you have the time, take it slow and ask around locally wherever you are. Worked every time for me. Don’t make big plans about things you don’t know well enough yet. Take it step by step and enjoy each one.

Re: Seeking Assistance in the Mediterranean

Welcome to CruisersForum!

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.
