Welcome to CF! My wife & I are presently in L.A., prepping our boat to head for Davao(Samal). Lol, is The RP becoming the fastest growing sailing community? Looking forward to reading your posts/story on these forums.

Capn_Bill why not ship to a more customs friendly country nearby and sail in it could save you a lot of stress re the bribe situation. Good luck with whatever you do.

Good point. When I get ready to go, still a couple of years off, I'll check around in a radius.
