Why, Hello !

My name is Kate! My husband and I are currently saving every penny we earn to buy a boat we can live on. Our dream boat would be a 43 ft Hans Christian Traditional, but we will see if we can swing that one. We live in Morro Bay, CA. Just moved to the area from Washington! We can't wait to move our little family aboard and start making our own sailing memories! If anyone is looking for some crew in this area, hit us up! We want to go sail!

Hi Kate and family,

Nice name Kate. Named my daughter Kate so must be nice.

Welcome to the forum. Great bunch of sailors here. Great place to meet more sailors, ask questions about boats, gear, whatever.

Skip

PS
I guess only in CA does granola grow on trees.

Haha, I always figured that in some place amazing granola would grow on trees. It's nice though, that screen name is never taken whenever I try to join a new site! My husbands name is Nick, by the way. I guess I failed to mention that! Thanks for all the greetings! I am excited to get to talk with all of you about your adventures!

And Kate is a good name. I bet your daughter will thank you some day for a name like that Skip. (My daughter's name is Addison, another good name... or so I hope!)

Nick is a lucky man to have a partner with your attitude and ambitions.

I also like the name Nick, so i kept the name...

Best of luck in your search

Hans Christian makes a beautiful boat. I was looking at one (35') yesterday, she's up past my limit but I'm thinking......hmmmmm Maybe.
BTW I used to live in Atascadero (back in another life).

Atascadero! It's hot up there, I think I'd rather be down here in foggy Morro Bay haha!
