It looks like the Ewoks found and restored a 1970s Class A rv and turned it into an amphibious tank!

Ewok amphibious assault vehicle - love it!

From the article " believes it was fitted with an electric motor to run off the solar panels on the houseboat's roof."

This thread should be re-titled to "First electrically powered houseboat to cross the Atlantic".
