Re: Assistance: seeking boat passage info for novel

boatman61: No worries, Merry Christmas to you to mate!

HopCar: Brilliant. This is exactly along the line I was thinking, just needed confirmation on vessel size/make and realistic timeline. Thank you! On a side note I was reading about the rubber bladder tanks, they had those on the planes too. Sometimes a plane was so ram filled to the roof with drugs and extra fuel bladders that the pilot could not even move or get out of the plane. If the plane had to ditch or caught fire it was game over. But at $400k a return trip.....

Thanks again guys. Much appreciated.

We used to find bits and pieces of small planes often diving in the Bahamas in the 80s.

Check out the new Blu-ray that just came out in October, I have a segment in the extras; 'Back Into the Cold'.

I've made the trip more times than I can remember I a 27 foot Coronado. Pick your weather window wisely.

I'm assuming you're thinking of a sailboat. Plan your trip to arrive in Bimini in daylight. It's not easy to get in at night.
