Impressive description of last year's Derecho in Corsica, by a French skipper offshor

Hi,

yesterday I came across this video of a skipper who survived last year's Mediterranean Derecho event offshore.
I had only seen and heard of shoreside events so far. This boat was offshore.

Many folks suggested that leaving the anchorage is the best option if there is enough time left. I agree generally with that.
Still, this video gave me pause.

The video is in French, but some of us speak the language and likely there are English subtitles available.
Highly recommend to watch it, even though it's largely telling the story and few footage clips.
