Junk Rig on a Cat - Just Curious

Been browsing pros and cons of various rigs, recently. Am intrigued re. how (acc. to junk rig enthusiasts) much easier it seems to be to both handle and quickly drop junk rigs, compared to traditional rigs .

So, the thought occurred to me to ask if anyone has tested junk rigs on cats (for my interest between 25ft - 35ft length) and how did the junk rig work on various holds, compared with trad. rigs.

Re: Junk rig on a cat - just curious.

Have not sailed a junk rigged cat, and in fact only ever seen one (other than photos). It was junk rigged with twin masts. She seemed to handle pretty well under sail -- I saw her sailing off her anchor in the Bahamas...don't see too many modern production cats doing that.

Am interesting in hearing hands-on experiences too.
