Gee!!! Can't wait to get rid of the wheel on the haulout next week. No more guessing what's happening and fighting the wheel and all those cables and sheaves.

I discovered it is a lot easier to talk on the phone, problem solved, question answered.

Correction: they were 40’ swells not 40’ seas. I am NOT too good at forum writing that is for sure.

You were right; a mix of aliens in the Bermuda triangle that took over the helm, loosened…a few things, snapped a cable & dropped the rudder.
