New Jersey ICW Big Egg to Cape May?

I need to get down to Cape May. The wave action doesn't look to favorable during my time frame. I traveled on their ICW very carefully last year in my power boat. Does anyone know how it is now? Just from Big Egg down. I can run outside tomorrow from NYC. Thanks.

I did beach haven to Atlantic city in July no problems. Couldnt make bridges south of AC. 3' draft lots of horse flies
