Lightbulb Some of the most beautiful solo sailing of my life (film)

Hi all,

So I filmed a recent solo sailing trip trough some very tricky tidal waters in the Netherlands and on the North Sea. I tried to include a lot of my ongoing thought-process as I sail and show many of the exact boat handeling little solo tricks that I use, navigating locks, gybing in strong winds etc.

Hope this will be both entertaining and educational

I am green with envy.

Great seamaship, great boat, and most of all, a fantastic location.

Nice to see a marina full of boats, none of which look like a 57 Cadillac.

From my location, I could mostly motor for 7 days and still end up in some boring Quebec or Ontario backwater town.

In this second episode get ready to enter some dark Dutch skies with me, on a storm filled journey from Harlingen to Enkhuizen, across the waddenzee and the IJsselmeer. Again a lot of detailed boat handling and sharing my thought process as I navigate this challenging journey.
