I think that you need to do what YOU think based on the feedback you have to sort through. No way you are going to take all those spares to go to Mexico..where FedEx and UPS DO GO. Can something break? Absolutely! Will it break? Maybe or probably! Many of the things that are suggested are fine if you have a dock box to store them in...and most probably do. However, you do need food and water to make the trip as well. Leave some space for it.

Good Luck
I love the group and used all their input in putting together my list and I appreciate the help. But at the end of the day I do have to make the choice and move on. Because there are a thousand more choices to make. And most assuredly I will make some that are completely contrary to very good advice offered by competent people...

I love watching the Pardey's videos. GPS? Who needs it? Engine? Who needs it?

It may not be the approach for me but the simplicity is outstanding.

Knowledge and/or information is power!

Accurate & useful information is probably the very best thing that you can stock on your boat.
Don’t have a spare part for every possible failure? How about a parts & shop manual? Because you can get almost anything, almost anywhere, all you really need is the knowledge:
- What part, specifically? (parts list/manual)
- How to replace/repair that part? (experience, shop manual, exploded diagram)

For another interesting perspective, see:
Too much information? Study shows how ignorance can be influential
"... The study, “Influence Through Ignorance,” is the first to thoroughly examine situations in which power comes from controlling the flow of public information, as opposed to the possession of private information ..."
