Welland Canal Passage - need advice

Hello all. I will be transiting the Welland Canal down bound this coming weekend. I think I have what I need as far as equipment (fenders, fender boards, boat hooks, lines, crew gloves, etc). There will be four crew plus me, so I also have that covered. I have downloaded the lock mooring tables, lock radio frequencies, Google earth shots of each lock, current Notice to Mariners, and the instructions for L/A signs and light signals.

What I need is local knowledge as to exactly where the Port Colborne pleasure boat dock is, customs/immigration check in procedures, toll ticket dispenser, what to expect between call-in to canal control and orders to cast off, etc). Really, just someone to talk me through the whole trip.

Would anyone be willing to let me call them and perhaps chat for 30 minutes?
